I always had a very good understanding for math and was always good working with other kid and helping them learn the subject. As a Buffalo State graduate, I have received Dean's List award. I have earned two Master Degrees, Master of Social Science in Public Administration and Master of Science in Reading that helped me to teach to the students who face difficulties in the content area reading. I am exposed to and trained with numerous research-based reading programs such as Reading Recovery, Fountas and Pinnell GRL, and more. I hated science and math when I was in junior high and high school. When I asked my teachers questions, they didn't give me the answers I was looking for. Luckily, I got into a great university and found out, after taking a few core classes, that I actually love science. Once I really understood some of the key concepts, I found it to be fun and interesting.
