Depending on the students learning style and the subject, my teaching style will differ. If the student is a visual learner than I will create PowerPoints and other visual aids to help them. If the student is kinesthetic than I may create a project for them to do (if the parent is ok with it), or I may have them interact more during the tutoring than with the visual learner. Lastly, if the student is an auditory learner than I will create/find videos for them to understand the material or create a song. Whatever way your child learns the best I will tailor an experience just for them.

Basic Learning Skills is one of my top subjects! An excellent tutor for teaching Basic Learning Skills. One must have the basics in order to succeed. I teach your child through their individual learning style. I can test your child to discover which way he or she learns best and then go from there! I am a firm believer that a student must build a "strong foundation" when it comes to becoming a successful lifelong learner. I began as an education major at the University of Central Oklahoma before switching to Oklahoma Baptist University. I have worked with children in a professional setting since 2004 in church, non profit, daycare, early childhood, and preschool settings. I value education and find it to be a crucial and vital part of child development. I have tutored autistic students, as well as taught preschool for 14 months both at Saint Dunstans Preschool and Holland Hall College Preparatory School.
I believe teaching is about learning instead of the outcome.
