A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland and Pushkin’s Institute of Foreign Languages, Moscow, Russia with MA in the field of Linguistics. Later, I had an opportunity to attend Kean University, from which I obtained four teaching certificates in the following areas: ESL, Bilingual/Bicultural Education, Elementary Education, and Foreign Language. I taught ESL, ESL - Math Strategies, ESL - Communication Strategies, Bil; School #2 and Linden High School since 1991 till June 2020. I am a founder and an advisor of the Polish Club and SLAVA - the Russian National Honor Society. My teaching experience was when I was in practice as a psychiatrist. I served as a preceptor to residents in the Family Practice residence program, St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington, DE, for about five years in the 1980s. I would apply that experience to the teaching of French, and Russian
I would assess and teach high school and college-level students with a conversational method. This would help identify the areas of deficiency. I would also supplement this with reading and writing. Whatever texts the student would have from their institution would be the basic source of course planning. Supplemental reading needs might then also be identified and assigned.
