My comments on tutoring Journalism : I know how to keep sentences & paragraphs short and can make quick corrections under deadline pressure.

B.A. in English, Liberal Arts from The College of New Jersey. Experienced Reporter, specializing in news and feature stories. Experienced Editor/Proofreader, specializing in Associated Press (AP) style. At the moment, I am working for the Professional Service Group of Central New Jersey as a Managing Editor of their Multi-Author Blog (MAB). I come up with story ideas and assign them to Writers. I edit articles, write headlines, work closely with the Layout Editor to make sure the articles are formatted correctly online.
I will use examples to teach. I will provide students with examples of the correct and incorrect ways to write a sentence. I will show pupils how to proofread their work for spelling and grammatical errors so that they do not rely solely on their spellchecker.

Learning is a lifelong process!

My very first year of teaching was at the Lehigh Valley Performing Arts High School, and I also taught for two years at Northern Lehigh High School. Currently, I am resigned and staying home, but looking to work part time. I have experience teaching grades 7-12 and working with all types of students.
