I have a high level of qualifications and professionalism because of my extensive experience in Education, now over 25 years. My students were very important to me. I cared about them and their quality of Education. After becoming a Master Teacher, I was proud to represent the teachers of my state with Governor Cecil Andrus and statewide schoolboards. My students attained levels two to four and a half years above grade level on their annual Standardized Tests. My expectations of them were very high and I was very proud of their efforts and improvements.

A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that teaching should be a collaborative process. The first step is to listen to the child and try to gain a sense of their own learning process. If you understand how the child learns, you will be better able to help him or her understand new concepts. I believe tutoring is invaluable in this regard, since it provides individual attention. Most classrooms are large, and ill-equipped to focus on each child's individual needs.
My tutoring began in high school, when I tutored younger students in any subject, from Math to English. I learned to love tutoring. I enjoy helping people to realize their full potential.
