In my experience I have found that it is always better to not only provide the didactic, but with it there must also be an ability for the student to relate personally. As it relates to methods of instruction, I have always utilized the three step method of: 1) See one, 2) Do one, and 3) Teach one. This is also akin to crawl, walk, and run method. There must always be a teacher student means of communication that is functional and effective.

My comments on tutoring Public Relations : Able to help with subject

I have had 22 years total of tutoring experience, worked for six different supplemental educational services tutoring providers, worked for three different online tutoring companies, and have eleven years of experience as an ESL Teacher. Teaching children is a passion of mine. They soak in the knowledge like a sponge. I am patient, easy going, but also know the task at hand. I try to find the best way to teach that individual child. As a accomplished student, I realized I always had help along the help with achieving academic success. From teachers and counselors to my peers and older students. I began to help other with academics as early as the third grade, however I began to commit to tutoring in High School and continue it through-out college, in hopes to eventually becoming a teacher in the future.
I believe anyone can teach a subject, having enough knowledge of a subject allows one to pass it on. However, I feel what many teachers do not do is teach students how to learn. It is in my belief that teaching students to learn enables them to think independently allowing them to become more creative rather than repetitive. During my years at UC Davis I achieved a high level of excellence inside and outside the classroom, majoring in Economics with a minor in Communication as well as earning All-America Honors in Intercollegiate Golf.
