I recently retired from teaching but have a love of math and working with students. Presently that makes accessible to tutor students any time day or night. I believe that my patience is my biggest strength in working with students having difficulties in math. My experiences over the years has taught me that not every student learns the same way so that same material must be presented in variety of ways until the student gets it. I always enjoy my days in the school and teaching. I feel that I am good at teaching. It is what I spent my first 2 years of college studying before switching to engineering. I make sure the kids feel safe in their environment, so learning becomes the primary focus. I try to make learning fun and try to show the students that it isn't really that difficult. I have enough math credits to be a high school math teacher, although I am not an accredited teacher. I am a consulting engineer, but have always enjoyed teaching.
