I don't have a formal experience of teaching in a class, but i do have a lot of experience from teaching my fellow classmates and occasionally teaching in front of the whole class. Its actually easier for me to teach one on one since I think I can give the student all the personal attention they need and will be able to devote more time inorder to make them understand the subject and master it. I have completed a MAST (Mathematics as Strategic Teaching) Seminar. I have completed training over engaging difficult students and I have also learned more innovative techniques in which to use when engaging students who are trying to achieve more challenging skills. I designed a program called Math Mates, which was an after school intervention program for students who needed more hands on time for learning, I opened the program up for all students but set aside certain days when specific students were invited so we could use more hands on manipulative and we worked on the different content standards.
