I always had a passion for helping kids. I always wanted kids to be the best they can be in class and outside of class. Growing up, I didn't have the help that I needed. A Little Bit About Me...

I have not taught anyone or tutored anyone for money. However, I would like to have the oppitunity to be able to tutor children or young adults on their way of the journey of life. I too was tutored going through school and not just once. I attended Sylvin Learning Center every other year since sixth grade. It helped me understand the areas that I didnt and excel in the areas I did. I would like to give thas opportunity to someone else.
I learned through visual aid. So, I guess I would lean towards this style of teaching. However, if a student learns better with audio aid then I would be willing to combine the two methods to better educate the student. My goal is to provide the best education possible and to suceed in that is to have great communication and alittle fun doing the work that is expected.

I have tutored students since my undergraduate years. I continue to give back to community through many projects. The sorority I am apart of hold many tutoring sessions to students. Also through my church we hold tutoring sessions. I have been involved in both projects for more than 5 years. I have tutored in English, elementary grade Math and Science.

A Little Bit About Me...

Both of my parents were teachers so it is in my blood. I am a firm believer in finding the right way to convey information to anyone, especially your student. My goal was always to confer the desire to learn no matter the subject. I remember the teachers who were passionate for their subjects and seek to emulate their expertise as much as possible in an environment that holds that students can learn pretty much anything they put their mind to.
