As a student in high school, I always have had a passion for math, as well as a passion to teach. I earned my Associate's Degree in Math Education from Mary Holmes College & went on to pursue my Bachelor's Degree from Mississippi State University. Even while pursuing my degrees, I was a Substitute Teacher for the West Point School District for almost 4 years. I then became a Teacher Assistant for the Starkville School District, and now I am a Pre-K Teacher for Oktibbeha COunty School District. I believe that all students can learn; however, the way in which a student learns may be different. Therefore, I use short formative assessments throughout teaching to measure the student's knowledge and understanding. Finally, I ensure that the student can generalize or apply the concept.
