Experience Summary
I have six years experience working in the Hillsborough County School System as a substitute teacher (grades PreK through fifth.
I also have four years experience working in two different preschools. I started as an aid/assistant then became a lead teacher at both schools after about a year. I have many years of experience working in day/childcare and after school care. I worked at an Academy/Church from August 2023 to May 2024 as the school’s only and permanent substitute. I have 10+ years experience working as a tutor with elementary and middle school ages. I love children and I really enjoy working with them and watching them grow and progress.
Teaching Style
Being and showing patience. Good communication between me and my students. Being adaptable and accommodating to students and their families, also being flexible with mine and their time. Showing confidence in my skills, knowing the material and always being prepared for any type of situation and subject. I do my best to be a good listener, showing support and I like to share my past experiences with students and provide constructive feedback when needed.
