Experience Summary
I have 19 years of teaching experience. I have a Bachelors and Masters degree in education. I am certified in early education to 8th grade. I am also certified in ESL. I am dedicated to meeting the needs of all students and improving overall student achievement. I have had the opportunity to teach a diverse group of learners, including ESL, general education, and gifted and talented students. With 19 years of classroom experience and a desire to provide all students with an excellent education, I look forward to working with learners to reach their full academic potential.

Teaching Style
I am a act as a facilitator in a child's learning. I promote self-learning and help learners develop critical thinking skills and retain knowledge that leads to academic success. I have a passion to educate young minds. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. As a result, I have become proficient in implementing lessons that accommodate all learning styles. I have experience in using a variety of assessments, activities, and resources to discover a learner's academic level as well as strengths and weaknesses. I incorporate a variety of activities based on a learner's needs such as reading books, magazine articles, phonics readers, playing games, using manipulatives, paper and pencil or other strategies to accomplish academic goals. I believe every child can succeed in math, writing, and reading when he or she is given the opportunity to work at his or her own level.
