Experience Summary

Have 2 years of real world experience working with engineering clients while in college. Completed 145 Credit Hours and my degree at Colorado school of Mines (CSM), which won "The Second Best General Engineering School" award in 2015 (the year of my graduation) in USA national rankings. Have work on government grant projects that involved coding algorithms and designing test experiments. Received a 100% in my college C++ class, and have taken math up through "Advanced Engineering Mathematics", which is 2 classes past Calc 3. Have used SolidWorks and AutoCAD in real world business applications. I have mentored and tutored younger students throughout my college tenure.

Teaching Style

Have mentored students in a relaxed manner as well as in a strict scheduled manner, can do both. For Math/Sciences I generally use example problems to help learn a core concept then use an application style problem to help the student solidify their understanding, rather than just memorize the process. Strong skills editing a students writing, both creative and technical. I enjoy coding and CAD and have developed a few methods that the student can use to help them debug issues. If we somehow come across something unknown to me, I have a library of reference material and will find the correct answer promptly (and on my own time, not on your dime)

My Hobbies

Played 5 Years of Collegiate Football at CSM. Current hobbies include movies, work outs, video games, a little basketball, martial arts, coding, fantasy football and Netflix.
