Experience Summary
Since 2010 I have been involved with various jobs teaching, interpreting and using American Sign Language. I began an Interpreter Training Program at Nashville State Community College. After the first year of the program, I decided to move to a location where many Deaf people were and immersed myself in the language. I got a job as a job coach specifically working with Deaf and hard of hearing individuals. I also began volunteering as an interpreter at a local church. I later had oppertunities teaching sign language and also tutering some college students taking ASL courses. In 2015 I started working full-time as a Language Facilitator in the Cheatham County School District in Tennessee. In 2016 I also started working part-time as an ASL interpreter for the robertsons county school district. In 2017 I left interpreting and vegan teaching teaching both Beginning American Sign Language I and II. I taught there for three years before switching careers. I am still involved with the Deaf community and use my sills as time permits. I hope to help you in your journey to discover develop and enjoy this beautiful language.

Teaching Style
My teaching style is adaptive. I start with a lesson outline, from there we go based on the students needs.
My Hobbies
I have several interests I engage in during my spare time. Simple things from hiking, to studying new subjects, and community service. One of my favorite lessons to work through is that of hobbies and sharing about my own, and learning about yours.
