I have a strong background in English and Special Education. I have tutored or taught students who were functioning at various educational levels. I prefer to tutor students in study skills, English grammar and composition, language arts, reading comprehension, spelling. Disabilities advocate/mentor/career coach/community resources specialist--no fees for this service. I will attend special Ed meetings, advocate for IEP's vs. 504 plans, help you fill out an application for disabilities or chronic health condition to the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation, write a resume or fill out a job application, advocate for thorough vocational assessment vs. mass referral to an inappropriate job training program, assist you with obtaining accommodations for the GED test and how to pay for the test itself and any assessment needed to qualify as having a disability. No charge for disability advocate services.
