Experience Summary
Teaching experience at all levels from Gen. Ed. Pre-K to ASL college students including self contained settings, tutoring, subbing, co-teaching, and classroom teacher experience of over 12 years. Interpreting experience as a Certified Sign Language Interpreter in multiple settings with varying styles and modes. Contract interpreting for agency as well as self-employed for over 10 years. College teaching experience includes instructing ASL classes for foreign language credit, Orientation courses, and Dual Credit coordinator for a 2 year institution. Private sign lessons have been successful for private toddler lesson, Youth Group, Library Children's Program, multi-aged Church classes, and small group. Specialty is discourse analysis of signed communication and study of ASL Linguistics.
