I am a decent chess player with current USCF rating of 1803 and FIDE rating of 1987. I won many district and state level championships in India. I earned 3rd category title so far with USCF. I have a Master's degree in computer science, the field that requires pure logic same as chess. Since I was passionate in chess since childhood, I had an inclination to do research and so earned the masters in research. I have defeated 3 master level players (2200+ USCF) and am motivated to do more.
