Experience Summary

I was born and raised in Russia (Vladivostok)and know English and Russian very well. I love the Russian language,its history, its richness. I got almost the perfect score in Russian on the State Exam, participated in lots of national competitions about the knowledge of this language, I did a dissertation about "The foreign influence on the Russian language". I also wrote articles for the newspaper in Russia and now, while living in Los Angeles, I am writing articles for the Russian Internet fashion magazine.I have also been practicing acting for several years and understood more about the language when read plays and performed them on the stage in Pushkin Theater.

Teaching Style

I am a reincarnating person: I can work with children, I can work with teenagers, I can work with adults. The teaching style depends on the customer. When tutoring little kids, we will learn the new language in a fun way by singing songs, talk in dialogues, reading poems, making plays, and, of course playing. When learning Russian with a grown-up, we will patiently study the structure of the language by tables and drawings, and of course study the Russian culture by songs and literature.

My Hobbies

Acting (I am a student of New York Film Academy), writing, piano, guitar, swimming, skiing, volleyball, editing, modeling.

Other Comments

I have the experience of cooperating with different kind of people. I worked with children and teenagers in the summer camp, I taught little kids English, I was a waitress in different restaurants, I was a promoter, a correspondent, a model, I studied with actors in the Russian Theater. I was a foreign exchange student in Utah, and now I live in Los Angeles and go to a film school.
