Experience Summary
Through my research experience, I’ve been required to present and teach my findings in small groups to fellow lab members, in large seminar settings to my peers and younger students across other departments and grade levels, and one-on-one settings with the principle investigators of the research group. To do so requires 3 key points: 1. Understand the audience, 2. present the material in a way based on the audience, and 3. anticipate any knowledge gaps the audience may have in order to effectively answer all questions.
