Teaching Style

When I teach, I try my best to be open minded, and to give choices to the student, rather than follow a closed-box cookie cutter curriculum. I've found it's important to find a personal way of learning for a specific student. Variety is important, because every child learns a little differently. Some kids learn by listening, others by seeing. Some kids learn only when they're making things. Encouragement and recognition when progress is attained by the student is a great incentive.

My Hobbies

I competitively swim, play violin and piano, and occasionally tennis. I love to read and write, I study French and play the occasional video game in my free time.
