Experience Summary

Worked in the graphics industry since before it became desktop publishing. Teaching and tutoring in the industry since 1996 from drum scanning to video editing to prepress. Job experience is in advertising, publishing major monthoy periodicals and sign design and prepress production. My forte is in production work first then design work. I enjoy teaching others as my students have gained more confidence in their work in digital graphics with solid professional work ethics.

Teaching Style

Hands on with actual files. Encouraging the creative abilities that are within the student. Always keeping in mind that I once was where my students are now, not quite enough confidence in what they can accomplish. I use humor in a quick witted and non-personal way to get and keep the attention of my students and always keeping it clean.

My Hobbies

My music, both writing and playing it on various instruments that I have acquired as a classically trained musician. Spending time just creating graphics and videos on the computer. Always finding time to do my photography for both pleasure and profit. I have been a professional photographer for forty years. Involving portraits, sports, journalism, commercial, artistic.
