Experience Summary

I've taught and tutored both accounting and math on the college level. I'm a CPA by training , and my resume includes working in public accounting and Federal and state government. I've taught/tutored math since 1981, and have taught both accounting and math to studewnts of varying demographics. I've been told that I have an ability to "demystify" many math concepts to increase student knowledge. I've researched "math anxiety" and try to help students grasp various math content ares relevant to their needs. Developmental math is a one of my strong points. I have demonstrated experience in GED, ASVAB and TEAS. I'm certified in SAT math ans SAT reading. My rates are reasonable which I'm willing to negotiate given the right circumstances. I live in the Merrimack Valley area; willing to travel for a minimum commitment of 2 hrs per session.

I was hired by the U.S> Army as an ASVAB tutor but the funding was eliminated. I have since tutored students privately to help them meet Army, Navy and Marine Corp enlistment criteria.
