Experience Summary
As a pride mother of 2 magificant French daughters I helped them with lessons and home work. Once in the work force I always helped newly hired colleagues. In between jobs and college I volunteered at Mercy hospital and at the Reptile Zoo in Miami, Fl. Once I started my medic classes at City College, I often stayed after class time to help students with their home work especialy in the algebra class. During my last job as an EMT I teached my partners the basics of the French language because they loved my French accent and they were eager to impress their friends.

Teaching Style
I'm not a conventional teacher. I provide the help you need in understanding and in thinking French. Little by little, step by step it will become clear. Home work, exam preparation, translation or simple converation is what I'm good at. I know how complex the French language is. I was once in your shoes and struggled until I met a French speaking friend who kindly and with a lot of patience made me love French as if it was my native language. You'll see how much fun life can be if things come easy. I'm not the French teacher of school and I have no intentions doing her job but I definitely can make it easier upon you!

I like French cuisine, literature,gardening and all kind of sport. I love being around people and animals.

Proficiency: Experienced, and one of my top Subjects!
I was born in Belgium, small trilangual country of Western Europe. I lived in Paris for 25 years and came to the States 7 years ago. I understand perfectly well how difficult the French language seems some time. I can help you little by little thinking French and even having fun in French. I'm not a conventional teacher but I can make you succeed playing with the French language. As my mother language is Dutch I experienced my self the frustration when it comes to stop making progress. I can help with home work or revision for up-coming exams. I can help with translations or "redactions" As I worked in a large doctor's office in Paris, I can help you with medical vocabulary.
