I took geometry in while in high school and I have worked with a number of students on the subject. I enjoy the subject and find its connection to calculus particularly interesting.
Trigonometry
I can help students with subjects such as using sine cosine and tangent, graphing trigonometric functions, the unit circle and reference angles, and trigonometric identities.
Biology
I completed two courses in biology as an undergraduate (cellular biology and organismal biology).
Chemistry
I completed two semesters of inorganic/general chemistry as an undergraduate, as well as two summer courses in organic chemistry.
Inorganic Chemistry
As an undergraduate, I completed two chemistry courses that included material in inorganic chemistry, both at Williams College. The first was an introductory general chemistry course and the second was a course in modern chemistry.
Organic Chemistry
I completed two summer courses in organic chemistry (organic chemistry I and organic chemistry II) while an undergraduate.
Physics
I completed three semesters of physics as an undergraduate (mechanics, modern physics, and electricity and magnetism), as well as a number of courses in astronomy that involved topics in physics.
Government

Creative Writing
I have tutored creative writing and I can help with both the outlining and the structural aspects of creative writing.
GED
I can assist students with each section of the GED test as well as with general test-taking approaches.
MCAT
I took the MCAT in 2010 and received a score of 30R (11 Verbal Reasoning, 11 Physical Sciences, and 8 Biological Sciences). I can assist students with both subject-specific preparation and test-taking approaches.
PCAT
I have taken the MCAT and GRE and I can help students with the following content areas on the PCAT:
-General biology
-Organic chemistry I and II
-General chemistry I and II
-The reading and writing content areas on the test
-Calculus and the other math content areas on the test
-Some topics in anatomy and physiology
Test Preparation
I have done test preparation tutoring for the following tests: the SAT I, the MCAT, and some SAT II subject tests. I try to both prepare students for the material to be covered on the test as well as for the structure of the test that they're working to prepare for.
Typing Skills
I have learned typing both through a program at home and at school and I am able to touch type.
CSS
I have about five years of experience with CSS and I can help students both with the syntax of CSS and with creating effects such as centered content blocks and rollover effects.
Desktop Publishing
I have experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign as well as Microsoft PowerPoint, and can help with both creating and editing content.
Graphic Design
I have done graphic design in the context of website development as well as created informational material such as flyers. I have experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. The areas that I can assist students with include vector graphics, photo processing, and editing PDFs.
HTML

I have about three years of experience with JavaScript and I have used it on a number of websites. I can help students with topics such as syntax, functions, events, loops, and integration with HTML. My online portfolio is also available on request.
Microsoft Excel
I have over ten years of experience with Microsoft Excel and I have used it in college level coursework. The areas that I can provide assistance with include data analysis, error propagation calculations, graphing, and CSV files.
Microsoft Office
I can help student with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint. I have had a number of years of experience in each of them and I can help students quickly gain proficiency in each program.
Microsoft PowerPoint
I have over 10 years of experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and I can assist students with a range of areas, such as creating slides, importing images, and exporting presentations.
