Experience Summary
Evergreen offers very tough, year-long, interdisciplinary scientific programs. In on program we studied General Biology, General Chemistry, Algebra-base physics, and pre calculus at the same time, focusing on how they directly related to one another. The following year I participated in a highly intensive year-long upper division program that followed similar guidelines, where we studied Bio Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Organic Chemistry, Immunology and Microbiology. I was always a great student and I took my scholastic career very seriously. My exam scores were good and I always got full credit & great evaluations (Evergreen doesnt do grades).
Teaching Style
My teaching style is very interactive. I believe in reading out-loud and having discussions about what things mean and how they may relate to other aspects of Biology. I believe that everyone has a different learning style and I will always try to find new ways of getting the point across to someone. I will not rush anyone through something just for the sake of getting it done. I am a very relaxed person and I feel like that will come through in our lessons.
