I am traditional in my teaching style.I can be non-traditional once I figure out the learning style of the student I work with. I have been teaching English since 1974. My experience is in teaching learning disabled, accelerated, and students in the middle range. I have taught grades 6-12 along with adult education. I have tutored for the state of Indiana. My style is easy to get along with. I am friendly with my students but am able to keep the boundaries of the teacher student relationship in play at all times. I do not believe in giving students answers but rather leading them towards a natural discovery of the answers on their own.
