I have breakdancing since '98. I have competed and won many battles both alone and with my old breakdancing crew. I have taught an all ages class successfully for one year and a middle school class for another single year. I have done choreography and am very proficient in innovating and creating new moves. I can do: flips (front and back), power-moves i.e. windmills, flare, 1990's, 2000's, and more, and many different styles of footwork! I can also assist you with regular modern hip-hop moves as well. I really think that teaching by showing is a good method. Whenever I teach dance I always demonstrate myself so the child can see what it is supposed to look like. If we are learning certain positions such as ballet adjusting the child is appropriate.
