Although I have only been teaching in a classroom setting for the last two semesters, I have spent a great deal of time teaching friends and fellow students over the years. I am very patient and able to adapt to the student with whom I am working. I am a firm believer that learning, and learning math especially, is not a spectator sport and that a great deal of practice is required to fully understand most material. I have many years of experience working with various age groups teaching and training a variety of activities. I spent a year and half of my college career studying Elementary Education before switching to Psychology. During that time I worked with students at our on campus elementary school Greenwood Laboratory. While working for the Park Board I had the opportunity to assist students K-5 with homework, recreation, fundamentals of sports and getting them to use their creative minds.
