I have over 19 years experiences teaching in Drexel University's First Year Writing Program. My experience includes teaching online, face-to-face, and hybrid classes ( partially face-to-face and partially online). For the past 5 years I have also taught ESL sections of First Year Writing. In addition I ma a tutor for the University Writing Center, a position I've also held for 10 years. My teaching philosophy is simple, help students write to the best of their ability, give them the tools to engage in critical thinking, and challenge them to write about what they are interested in. Writing is clearly a skill that crosses majors, and is a critical skill in the workplace.
