I have almost 10 years of experience of teaching students for the SAT,GRE, and specific subjects, combined. It started during my freshman year (1999) at Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL). I tutored students through college in Biology, Chemistry and the SAT. Out of this experience, I instructed students for multiple semesters in a Biology Lab course. After I graduated from Wheaton (2003), I entered a doctoral (Ph.D.) program at Johns Hopkins Medical School to study Molecular Biology. In my current position I am creative, organized, and nurturing. I am a team player and regularly coordinate lessons with faculty in other departments at my grade level. I make class fun and meaningful for my students. I also created a workbook for my students in an effort to revive Latin in the classroom. This book has revolutionized the curriculum and has captured their interest remarkably.
As a 2006 graduate of the University of Maryland, I have both student teaching and full-time teaching experience at the University and 8th grade level. Currently, I am teaching Latin to 8th grade girls at the Bryn Mawr School - an independent K-12 school.
