I first came to the United States in 2014 as an international student and for 1.5 years I was able to improve my English skills during my undergraduate. Later on I went back to Brazil to finish my studies. In 2017 I moved to Tallahassee where I am concentrating on becoming a software developer. As a native Br - Portuguese speaker I am able to teach both formal and informal language(slang). My tutoring includes methods to beginners and advanced students (speaking).
My tutoring method will mostly consist in speaking and grammar. I am brazilian and I did it. Try, commit and you can do it.

I love teaching my native language. For beginners I like to start off simple, with words and sentences that are frequently used, this way they can get around being able to say the basics. For advanced I go into debt with grammar, when to use and not use certain words.
My family and I moved to the States from Belo Horizonte, Brazil about 6 years ago;however we still fluently speak, read ,and write in Portuguese. Since then, we have had the opportunity to go back a few times, and visit friends and relatives. I did not know any English before I moved here, it was difficult to learn a new language, but I did it. I decided to challenge myself and take college courses in high school, now I am currently attending college, and when people find out I am brazilian they frequently comment on my "lost" accent.

In Brazil, I was teaching Portuguese to a group of Canadians and two German girls. I just needed to quit the lessons because of my Exchange Program in the US (2011). Many people are interested in learning Portuguese due the World Cup in 2014 and the Olympic Games in 2016, both in Brazil.
