My comments on tutoring Journalism : As a high school English teacher I also served as newspaper and yearbook advisor. I also worked as a freelance writer for a small town newspaper.

My comments on tutoring Journalism : I have written articles for newspapers and magazines which have been received very well. Writing journalistically is different from writing other kinds of material, and the student must know the difference. I teach that.

I am gentle, yet demanding. I am soft, but strict. I use humor to keep my students interested and in focus. I teach, but I also listen and watch for signals from my students in order to know if they understand or need more explanation. I develop a bond with my students regardless of the students'age which allows us, as a "team" to move together toward success. I believe that every student can learn -- some just learn faster than others, or easier than others, and it is my job, my privilege to help them learn how to do their very best.

My comments on tutoring Journalism : Its a subject I like to work on when I do translation work

I like to get online with My students and provide with a study dynamics which revolves on some exercises, speaking the language is important in order to be able to dominate it. Learn the basics in a really easy fashion, you can do anything if you put your mind into it. Several tests will be presentend on each stage of lessons.
I´ve been translating many documents English to Portuguese and vice versa. Also have experience on voice over. ADd subtitles to videos. Some transcriptions are part of my experience. I work in several areas. Advertising, EDucation, Multimedia, Sports, Politics... are some of the areas I´ve been working on. I´m a perfeccionist and I like to deliver my work on time. Never stop learning!

I grasped the importance of education at a very young age and excelled throughout school. Early in my youth I also developed a sincere passion for helping fellow classmates who I saw were having difficulties comprehending course material.
