I have been teaching private music lessons for over 3 years and have taught many students ages 5 through adult. I teach saxophone to the advanced level and beginning piano and clarinet. I can also tutor and teach music theory, music history, world music, and composition. My speciality is jazz and improvisation. I evaluate the student and see where he/she stands and move forward in progressing their skill. Every instrument is different and difficult in its own way. I will teach the student the most productive way to practice by using the technique I learned by professors and professional musicians. For trumpet, I work on the embochure, and breathing.
