B-boy style by the mile!!!!

My teaching style is definitely more of a facilitator/demonstrator style where I show and teach you the moves step by step then encourage you (the peer) to learn, search, and practice independently.
I have breakdancing since '98. I have competed and won many battles both alone and with my old breakdancing crew. I have taught an all ages class successfully for one year and a middle school class for another single year. I have done choreography and am very proficient in innovating and creating new moves. I can do: flips (front and back), power-moves i.e. windmills, flare, 1990's, 2000's, and more, and many different styles of footwork! I can also assist you with regular modern hip-hop moves as well.

At 21 years old I am a performer and have 30+ credits of stage, film, radio and television performances. I have been singing and dancing my whole life, studying from world class instructors, such as Mark Yonally, Catherine McDaniel, Kathleen Clawson, Delreen Hafenrichter, Wendy Barker, and others. I have studied music education, theatre, voice and dance at Oklahoma City University as well as the University of New Mexico. Private and group lessons- Beginner Level Dance!

I have been teaching dance for four years, ranging from groups of 20 young students to private sessions for adults. I typically work with children and am experienced with large groups. I currently teach Ballet and Tap at Ajala Essence Dance Studio in Lansdowne, PA. I was the Performance Coordinator at Abington Friends Summer Enrichment Program in Jenkintown, PA. I keep learning fun and interesting!

I am a recent college graduate working full time. I have quite a lot of tutoring experience assisting other college students pass rigorous business courses.
