I do not have a teaching style as this implies that I or anyone can really teach another how to write. Writing is not taught in a way that science can be taught or grammar can be taught. Writing (and learning grammar and memorizing vocabulary lists are not learning how to write) is learned and my job -- as tutor or college composition instructor -- is to help students at all levels find their voice and style and indentify the challenges they face whenever they write.
