Individualized learning/teaching for optimal comprehension

I take a hands on material approach to learning/teaching. I feel that young students learn best when they can physically interact with the materials, such as through blocks/puzzles/interactive learning devices and other similar approaches. I try to let the student use their hands as much as possible to aid their learning process. For older students such as my high school students or their college counterparts, I use more direct audial teaching and visual teaching styles. My comments on tutoring Poetry : Poetry study units hold their own place of significance in any English or language Arts course for all grade levels. In addition to teaching poetry, I write it from time to time.

My comments on tutoring Poetry : I am an expert poetry writer, and I will show you the online tools to help you write poetry much more easily. Poetry is just ideas converted into images and words, and in some forms of poetry, the words must rhyme perfectly. For some people, it is hard to tell a story while rhyming. I will show you how to get away from describing the sentences you want to say and thinking in pictures and ideas and key words and connecting them based on a rhyming word you find. It's much easier than you think!

If you watch me closely during our sessions, you can see me secretly paying keen attention to you and how you learn best. For example, you might say, "It LOOKS like they want me to factor here." And I'll think, "Aha! LOOKS. Maybe you're a visual learner and like to SEE things explained and SEE examples. (About 80% of students are visual learners.) On the other hand, you might say, "It sounds like they want me to factor here." And I'll think, "Aha! sounds. Maybe you like to HEAR things explained, and you're a keen listener and like to hear things described clearly and specifically. My comments on tutoring Poetry : Many of my works of poetry have been published in national publications and well as being used for public use such as The Whitney Project, greeting cards, and postcards.

My first job right after turning 16 was working as a photographer and journalist for the local newspaper in my hometown. My main job was working with the teen section; GeneratioNext asking questions, taking polls, and writing articles that were teen related to teen issues, college and continuing education, and career goals. I've never really tutored before outside of helping my classmates, but even still I excel when it comes to teaching others tactics for reading and writing. I am extremely patient and studious when it comes to helping others learn, especially children. I graduated a year earlier than I should have due to skipping a grade because of my reading and writing skills. I took two years of AP English (Rhetoric and Literature) in high school and scored a 4 (out of a maximum score of 5) on my AP exam.
