I have more than 8 years of tutoring experience in chemistry/basic science at the college level. I can help with methods to study for test, work on course material, and develop a deeper understanding of the course material. I currently work in the chemical industry which helps me apply the material the student is learning to real-life research and development of products. I recieved my PhD in physical chemistry from Penn State University and tutored my entire time there. I try to use real world applications related to the student's area of interest to make the material stick in the student's head rather than the ineffective method of brute memorization.

When I was studying engineering at University of Michigan, I took a job as a tutor at Washtenaw Community College. This was the most rewarding job I ever had.
