I have 4 years of varied experience to help you with learning the basics of American Sign Language. I have been through a local training college and have volunteered around the Twin Cities. Experience working with adults and kids. I prefer to meet in public places, libraries are a great place since ASL is very quiet. I have finished interpreting classes at Saint Paul College and am currently volunteering in the Twin Cities area. Within the last 4 years I have gained considerable knowledge about the Deaf community, sign language, and the variety of ways it is used in society. I have completed level 4 at the U of M- Duluth and Saint Paul College. Currently I am enrolled in the Interpreting program at Saint Paul College. I help with grammar and often play word games. I have tutored for American Sign Language levels 1-2 at the University of Minnesota-Duluth for two semesters. I helped students with sentence structure and learning signs. I often use games such as hangman and apples to apples to help with remembering signs. I am currently enrolled in the interpreting program at Saint Paul College.
