I have peer tutoring experience with friends and class mates in college. I have have a BS in Biology and Pre-Dental Prep. I finished with a major GPA of 3.7 and overall GPA of 3.3. I am a huge fan of the sciences, and enjoy keeping up to date on that knowledge. I currently work in a sales role that requires me to call on "C" level executives in Indianapolis. While in college I took every opportunity to help friends and classmates. I enjoy understanding a subject and then helping another understand it as well. Everyone learns differently, and it takes relating each persons style to that subject. I feel most people enjoy learning as long as they can avoid becoming frustrated.

I like to have a relationship with the students I tutored where they feel comfortable with me; I want them to be able to tell me the problems they're having with the work and what I can do to help. I like to be friendly with them while still being an authority figure where they want to do their best. I think this type of relationship allows me to push the students to their maximum limit without discouraging them when we're having a difficult session. I worked at LearningRX as a cognitive skills trainer where I worked with students who were having difficulty in school and I was able to find their areas of difficulty and help build those areas up while also helping with their memory, visual acuity, and processing speed.

I really love to teach and to guide students.I think every student has different ability to learn so first i judge the students and then try to teach in different ways like by using white or black boards,by giving different examples related to a particular topic..etc.I believe dat a good teacher first has to become a good friend of students and then by guiding at last he/she plays a role of parents. The difference in parents and a teacher is dat parents teach students in home and teacher teaches in a school/college. Every child wants to learn, although a more creative design may be needed to find a child's greatest potential. Patience, consideration, and encouraging words are simple tasks to help the self esteem of children in a child's education. With a degree from Purdue University and continuing on to get a degree in engineering, I am engaged in many areas of science and math. Even at a young age I taught my younger sister basic mathematical and reading skills even before she entered kindergarten; we called it "school". The youngest, my brother, in which we are both diagnosed with ADHD, is amazing. I quickly learned to be patient with him when helping with his homework because I can see the same frustration on his face I had at his age when trying to concentrate on a difficult task.
