I got my Marine Biology degree in 2004 from TAMUG. We did a lot of research out in the field mostly right off the island. Over the years we collected, observed ,researched , and collected data for our scientific research papers that a lot of courses demanded. Being out in the field was the best part. Vertebrae Zoology was my track, but I specialized in cetacean behavior.

I took a semester of Marine Biology and received a strong 3.5 in the class. I always liked playing up my quirky personality. My favorite teachers and professors were the goofy ones, the ones who can relate to the students' fun side. These teachers also challenged me the most, and I ended up getting so much more out of the course. I figure that, if a student likes the teacher, he or she will pay more attention and have a deeper respect for the teacher. The teacher then can use this trust to push the student a little more, intellectually. I find that is what works best for me. I don't any paid, professional tutoring experience.
