Experience Summary
I was a certified secondary science teacher for over 14 years. In college, I was a premed student who taught Human A & P, Microbiology, and Chemistry laboratory classes 2 1/2 years as a teaching assistant. I have a degree in Environmental Science and focused on microbial genomics. I was trained as a college-level tutor at Southwest Texas State University, as well. I have a profound ability to explain technical (abstract) science concepts to all audiences. I am an accomplished Jazz/Blues pianist with a lifetime of experience. I can train you to improvise by ear, provided you learn some simple music theory.
