About Me

Experience Summary

I have 28 years of teaching experience, a master's degree, and am Rank 1 certified in reading, language arts, and math. I have experience with one-on-one online and in-person tutoring and small group intervention. In addition, I have two children with dyslexia and ADHD, so I am experienced, both as a parent and teacher, with special needs students and the educational complications for students and families.

Teaching Style

My teaching style is structured and straight forward. I try to get the most instruction I can in the time you have given me, so you and your child will see almost immediate strides in learning.

My Hobbies

I love to read, play with my children and pets, go to movies,etc. I am also a long-time host family to international high school exchange students. I have hosted 13 students from all over Europe and Japan.
