Experience Summary
I have been tutoring for 6 years throughout my high school and college years. I previously tutored higher level high school students in subjects such as Algebra I-II, Geometry, College Algebra, and Pre-Calc. I am currently pursuing a minor in Mathematics from Marist College, which has increased my experience level within different branches of math, specifically College Calc I-III.
Teaching Style
After gauging the student's comfort level with the assigned material, I reinforce certain concepts and then assist with the first few problems. Thereafter, I allow the student to work through the other problems autonomously. I am always ready to answer specific questions and review the work.
