Experience Summary
I taught high school for eight years, including Algebra 1 through AP Calculus. I am a fully credentialed math teacher and passed the level 3 math test (CSET) with almost a perfect score. I am currently a director of a tutoring center. I have helped many students to achieve their goals (obtain a much better grade in school, pass the AP Calculus exam, obtain 1800 or above on SAT test) I am very familiar with the California math curriculum and have all the materials and resources (such as text books, SAT practice tests, AP Calculus practice tests TI graphing calculators...) needed to help students succeed. For higher math classes, I will provide students with TI-83 graphing calculator during the tutoring session with no extra cost, and I will also teach students how to use the calculator efficiently tackle the problems.
