I worked as a broker for one of the largest brokerage firms. I quickly established myself as one of the most knowledgeable brokers and started running training classes and tutoring new brokers.
I was promoted to the Margins department where I spent much of my day on a help line. I would explain margins and advanced trading concepts to both brokers and clients. This gave me the unique skill of being able to break down and explain advanced financial concepts to both financial professionals and novices in a timely manner.
Teaching Style
I have experience teaching people in person, over the phone, and through computer media. Everyone learns differently and I think it is important to understand their learning style. Once you understand the learning style that the student is most comfortable with, you can present the information in a manner that best suits the individual.
