Please call 210-884-6799 for scheduling. My experience in chess expands 30 yrs. I started as a Junior High, High School and a young adult tournament player and eventually a chess teacher. Personal Achievements: Member of a team that won the 1978-1979 San Antonio City Junior Championship Member of a team that won the 2000 & 2004 Texas Team Amateur Champions 1990 thru 1999 competed in several tournaments Chicago Open, Texas State Championship, World Open in Philadelphia, Southwestern Open Tournament in Reno, NV, North American Open in Long Beach, CA, and National Chess Tournaments in Las Vegas. 1st place in the 1999 National Amateur Championship in Las Vegas Student Achievements: 1st place- 3rd Grade State Scholastic Championship at Foster Elementary in 2000-2001, San Antonio, Texas Texas Regional Champions at Foster Elementary School in 2000-2001, San Antonio, Texas 2010-2011--1st place in individual and Team competition at the Guadalupe Scholastic Chess Tournaments in San Antonio, Texas. 2nd place in Elementary Championship section, Feb. 2011 Texas Regional chess tournament in Austin, Texas 1st place in the 2013 Middle School Regional VI JV Championship tournament in Austin, Texas 12th place in the 1st grade Texas Grade Championship November 9, 2013 in Houston, Texas 1st place in High School Open section at the Regional VI Chess Tournament in San Antonio, Texas held at Langley Elementary School 02-22-2014. 2nd place in the February 2015 Regional VI Chess Tournament in Austin, Texas 2nd, 4th and 5th place individual and 1st place Team in the March 2015 Texas State Scholastic Championship.
