Experience Summary

After more than 30 years working for a securities firm, I decided to retire - but missed the business. So, for over 10 years, I worked for a well-known exam preparation company part-time as an instructor teaching the Series 6, 7, 9, 10, 24, 63, 65, 66, and 99. Most of the classes were conducted online, but some in classroom sessions. Additionally, I did a lot of one-on-one tutoring both in person and online. I am passionate about helping candidates by by using real life examples to better understand the rules and regulations they need to apply to pass these exams. I have recently successfully assisted candidates pass the new Securities Industry Essentials exam.

I take the time to understand your strengths and weaknesses and tailor a program designed to focus your efforts on the areas you need the most help. My tutoring sessions are not cookie-cutter - they are individualized.

I have been teaching exam preparation classes for the Series 6, 7, 9, 10, 24, 63, 65, and 66 for more than 10 years. I have worked in the securities industry for more than 40 years. For most of my career, I have had responsibility for training all levels of Broker/Dealer and IA employees. I am also a FINRA Arbitrator.
