Thank you for checking out my profile. I have been interpreting/teaching/tutoring for 25 years now! I have worked in a variety of settings and have loved every minute of it. I taught at a School for the Deaf for 10 years and worked with the D/B community and Helen Keller National Center. I have coordinated interpreting services at various agencies. I have worked with students/teachers/community providing sign language classes and workshops. I have provided workshops/trainings to the interpreting community. The classes/workshops I have provided catered to the needs/wants of the participants. I love what I do and look forward to working with you!
Teaching Style
I enjoy working in a 1 on 1 or group setting. I can work with you on
your ABC's/123's, basic communication skills up to entry level interpretting skills. I can also help provide support if you are already in a sign language class/interpreting program. I also enjoy working with the "lil ones" and can provide baby sign classes to family's and their children. I can meet with you at the local library, coffe shop, on campus or if you and your family/friends want to learn together
I can meet at your home. I am also able to do some online tutoring as well. I like to use a variety of resources....books, printed handouts and online resources. I am also open to your suggestions.
