Experience Summary
I've earned several awards for my work with dyslexic children including an award from the past governor of Michigan. I've also been honored by parent groups in the Dearborn Public Schools in Michigan. I've had several articles published on the topics of juvenile delinquency, learning differences, early recognition of learning differences and many others. I've been an adjunct professor at The University of Michigan, guest speaker at local and national conferences, and a teacher consultant for many years. My passion for helping children reach their potential is met through using the Orton-Gillingham Approach along with other multi-sensory approaches like The Wilson Program Project Read. I've been in the field of education for over 45 years and absolutely love what I do. To experience the thrill of success with my students is wonderful!
