Experience Summary
I am the mother of 3 children and an elementary education teacher. Currently I am teaching 2nd grade but I've been teaching for 5 years and have experience in grades k,1, 2, 3 and 5. I've also had substitute and tutoring experience with grades k-12. I have experience with special needs both through my own children and within the classroom. In addition to a Bachelor's Degree I have 6 additional credit hours towards my Master's Degree and am currently enrolled in a 3 hour course. I scored in the top 15% nation wide of all teachers taking the Praxis and PLT II in 2011 and am considered a highly qualified educator.
Teaching Style
I believe every child can succeed in school. Every child has the ability to reach his/her highest potential, even those who are struggling. Sometimes it is just a matter of finding the technique that works best for that child. Not every child learns exactly the same way but every child can learn!
My Hobbies
Painting, writing, reading and what ever my kids are currently into.

Every child has the ability to succeed. Sometimes they just need a little more help figuring out how they learn best. As a teacher it is my job to help them figure that out!
